NEW TO THE MARKET!!!

With the first phase villas being sold-out and many of the home sites already purchased, there has been a driving demand for something just a little smaller which has the same high end finishes and appeal that the larger villas have.

So, please let me introduce to you the group of 14 – 1 & 2 bedroom Casitas with half of them having sunrise and sunset views that also grasp the stunning colors of the Caribbean Sea. Each Casita will have an individual infinity pool and patio overlooking the Black Pearl Development, while absorbing the generous cooling trade winds from the South East.

Below you will find the three designs for two 1-Bedroom Casitas and one 2-Bedroom Casita. Also attached are the views East, up island, and West, down island and the gorgeous sunset only the Caribbean can offer.

The first picture is looking East from the Patio and Pool area. The Living Area and the two Bedrooms have the same views. These areas will also receive the cooling trade winds coming out of the South East. The second picture is looking West from the ridge line Casitas which will have the beautiful sunset year round. The third picture is facing West x North West towards sunsets and the stunning colors of the Caribbean.

May Update of BPGC Development

As the ‘Back 9′ continues to grow appeal amongst all that come through to conquer the fun but competitive course, the ‘First 9′ is beginning to show structure. Perry Dye returns to the development every 3 weeks to make additional tweaks to what is already becoming known as one of the most attractive and impressive courses the Caribbean has seen in many many years.

Photo Left: This is the first hole launching out of the first tee near The Marina and The Marina Village.  At a distance of 417 yards from the blacks, this hole will set a good bar on what is to come, which will be a glorious ride through the surrounding hills that have breathtaking views of the azure Caribbean Sea. What you see are the final steps in the creation of the main fairway before grassing.

These photos show the initial area of what is to become the home of Pristine Bay Resort. The photo on your right will the main 60 room resort with an additional 30, 2 bedroom villas spread over the 16 acre development. Photo on left is the area of what will become the beach club for all resort guests.

The entrance to the First Phase home sites have been named – Royal Palm Drive & Coconut Drive. All entry gates will have electronic keypad entry.

Between these two drives were going to be 2 half acre Estate Lots but have been change to an area with approximate 16 Casitas.  I expect to receive plans by the second week of May. I will post when available.

Nicole and Mathew, a young Chicago couple scouting wedding locations on the island of Roatan, joined me at the BPGC for an exciting day of golf on the back 9. Every week I visit the course with clients/friends and the fairways become ever greener and the greens improve their play.  The surroundings are forming into yet another Dye masterpiece.

Nicole and Mathew had the pleasure of flying down with Perry Dye as he came to tweak the 1st, 8th & 9th fairways last weekend. As we all connected on the 16th tee, Perry described how he and his father Pete are very excited to open a Dye Design course that is playable by all levels. It will still remain challenging and very enjoyable but not insanely difficult as those for the top professionals of the sport which they are constantly creating for.

A Stunning Week for the Black Pearl

You could not ask for a better week for golf as the temperatures lay in the low 80’s with nice cooling trade winds flowing from the South East.  For this, the first amateur tournament with two rounds of the back 9, it was a shot gun start…literally.  At 11am, one of the course guards let his shot gun burst twice into the hills to commence the first day of play.  With a course of 30 player’s it became quite a challenge with also many laughs. Some fairways were quite narrow between hazards such as the 15th green which lies within sand traps and two water hazards no more than 30 feet wide in places.

I spent most of my time following one team which had Perry Dye (the creator/design partner with father Pete).  Following are some of the photos I shot during this two day tournament.

Perry Dye’s successful swing over the 240 yard water hazard from the Black Tee on the 16th hole.

William Crisp, a team member of Perry during this tournament makes his swing for first landing position from the 16th tee.

Ann Dye, wife of Perry, makes her 2nd shot from the bunker on the island green (Dye Signature Green) on the 11th hole.

Perry puts for birdie on the 14th green.
